Make Hydrogen Happen

The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office within the U.S. Dept of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy announcd that the clean hydrogen-powered floating laboratory Energy Observer docked in Washington, D.C. as it nears the end of a seven-year expedition around the world to champion the cause of sustainable energy. The ship is the world’s first laboratory vessel powered by renewable electricity and fuel cells using clean hydrogen produced from seawater.
